Prediction Markets & Betting

Clouty.io pioneers the concept of prediction markets for
the music industry, allowing users to capitalize on their intuition by
trading on song performance, artist milestones, and industry
trends. The platform features a dedicated market index,
bringing financial dynamics to the world of pop culture.
Lexogrine served as the end-to-end product partner for
the MVP. We guided Clouty from the
initial concept through
feature prioritization and
strategy, to the
complete UI/UX design and
final technical implementation. Our goal
was to bridge two distinct worlds: creating a visually
immersive interface that resonates with music fans, while
maintaining the functional clarity of a fintech trading
platform.
The concept of a music prediction market is vast. Our challenge was to distill this complex vision into a lean, functional Minimum Viable Product. We had to strictly prioritize features to launch quickly and validate the core hypothesis, avoiding the trap of over-engineering the initial release.
Bridging finance and pop culture
The core challenge was to translate complex stock market mechanics, such as indices and trading, into an engaging, intuitive interface tailored for music fans, not financial analysts.
Defining the visual identity
We needed to design a distinct aesthetic that resonated with the music industry while maintaining the clarity and trust required for a betting and prediction platform.
Implementing financial mechanics
Clouty aimed to go beyond simple betting by introducing complex stock market elements. The challenge was to engineer a dedicated market index that accurately tracks music releases and industry events in real-time, functioning similarly to a financial exchange.
Engagement & retention
Beyond functionality, the goal was to create a "sticky" experience. We had to implement gamification elements that would encourage users to return frequently and track the performance of their favorite artists.
To turn the vision of a 'music stock market' into reality, we built a custom prediction engine that handles real-time data with precision. By leveraging React for the frontend, we translated complex trading mechanics into a fluid, intuitive interface tailored for music fans.
Fintech meets pop culture
Our design team developed a hybrid visual language. We merged the data density and precision of trading terminals with the vibrant, emotional aesthetics of music streaming apps, creating an interface that feels both professional and entertaining.
React-driven real-time interface
Leveraging React, we built a high-performance frontend capable of rendering complex data visualizations and live charts. This ensured that the dynamic "Music Index" updates smoothly across all screen resolutions without compromising speed.
Node.js powered prediction engine
At the core of Clouty lies a robust Node.js backend. We implemented complex algorithms to handle the prediction market logic, calculating odds and processing concurrent bets in real-time, much like a traditional stock exchange.
Immersive & fluid UX
To bridge the gap between music fans and traders, we focused on micro-interactions and smooth animations. These details not only improved the aesthetic appeal but also built user trust by making financial transactions feel intuitive and seamless.

They helped in closing a seed round of $1.5 million for the project. The team showed flexibility for a smooth workflow.
We engineered a high-performance trading platform using a unified TypeScript stack with React and Node.js. To ensure real-time data sync and global scalability, we integrated MongoDB and Firebase, optimizing delivery via Vercel.

Clouty required a bespoke design approach that defies standard categorization. By synthesizing elements from music streaming, betting, and stock trading platforms, we engineered an interface that is reliable enough for financial transactions yet engaging enough for music fans.
The platform’s foundation rests on a robust stack of TypeScript, React, and Node.js. To bridge the gap between our designers and developers, we utilized styled-components, ensuring that the complex UI and data visualizations were implemented with pixel-perfect precision and efficiency.
